Sell used stage and event equipment

Do you have stage lighting, sound systems or staging equipment that is no longer used? We help businesses assess and sell used event equipment during upgrades, stock clearances and closures.

From PA systems and digital mixing consoles to moving heads, lighting desks and stage platforms. Send an inventory so we can assess direct purchase, consignment or auction options.

Sell sound, lighting and staging equipment

We can assess individual items and complete lots from event businesses, rental companies, theatres, promoters and other organisations. Identify which components belong together to avoid breaking up useful systems unnecessarily.

PA systems and live sound

PA speakers, subwoofers, stage monitors, amplifiers and loudspeaker processors. Describe known faults, driver condition, connections and which components form the system.

Mixing consoles and audio distribution

Digital and analogue mixers, stageboxes, audio racks, interface cards and multicore cables. Include model details, options, known functionality, power supplies, racks and transport cases.

Stage lighting and moving heads

Moving heads, LED PAR fixtures, wash, spot and beam fixtures, profiles and Fresnels. State operating or lamp hours where available, known faults, condition, mounts and transport cases.

Lighting desks, DMX and dimmers

Lighting consoles, controllers, DMX nodes, splitters, dimmer racks and power distribution. List software versions, accessories and tested functions. Any licences need separate assessment.

Truss and stage platforms

Aluminium truss, stage platforms, decks, legs, guardrails and connectors. Include identification, compatibility, condition and available documentation. Disclose damage and repairs.

Microphones, cases and event inventory

Wireless microphones, in-ear systems, DI boxes, stands, flight cases and cables. State frequency bands for wireless systems and list each rack or case's contents. Mixed equipment lots can also be assessed.

When your event inventory needs to change

Equipment can sit unused after production changes, system upgrades or reduced rental demand. We help find resale options for surplus equipment from event stores, theatres, concert venues and conference centres. Lots can be offered as complete systems or separated where that better suits buyers.

Include manufacturers and models, for example Yamaha, Allen & Heath, Midas, DiGiCo, d&b audiotechnik, L-Acoustics, QSC, Shure, Sennheiser, MA Lighting, ETC, Martin, Robe or Prolyte. Examples support identification and imply neither brand partnerships nor a guaranteed purchase.

From equipment store to completed sale

  1. List and photograph

Collect models, quantities, serial numbers, accessories and photographs. Include known faults, location, access and your preferred timing.

  2. Assess the lot

We assess resale options based on condition, demand and continued usability. Documentation and complete system contents help the assessment.

  3. Agree the arrangement

We choose direct purchase or a resale arrangement. Pricing, costs, any testing, deinstallation and transport are agreed beforehand.

  4. Sell and hand over

Sales and handover follow the agreement. We do not normally collect equipment ourselves, but a courier can be arranged by separate agreement. Related components stay together and known defects are clearly described to buyers.

What we need to know about your stage equipment

Original purchase prices alone do not establish today's resale value. Please include:

  • Manufacturer, model, serial number, quantity and approximate age.
  • Known functionality, service history and documented faults.
  • Operating or lamp hours for fixtures, where available.
  • Frequency bands for wireless microphones and in-ear systems.
  • Accessories, flight cases, cables, power supplies and related components.
  • Identification and available manuals, inspection records and documentation for truss, platforms and other load-bearing equipment.

Load-bearing and rigging equipment needs assessment based on condition, documentation and intended use. Disclose damage or unknown history. The resale service does not constitute an inspection or certification. Any checks and qualified deinstallation must be arranged and agreed before handover.

Which sales route suits your equipment?

Direct purchase of stage equipment

Where contents and condition suit a direct purchase, we can offer to buy all or part of the lot. This can simplify handling when many items need to be sold together.

Consignment and auction

Specialist products or large mixed inventories may suit consignment or auction. We discuss the arrangement, sales channels, costs and timing. Final prices depend on the market and individual items.

Questions about selling stage equipment

Do you buy used stage equipment from businesses?

We review your inventory and assess direct purchase or resale options. Models, condition, quantities and demand determine the appropriate arrangement.

Can you help sell a complete event equipment inventory?

Yes, we can assess mixed lots of sound, lighting, stage modules and accessories. Clear lists and photographs help identify complete systems and items better sold separately.

Can older moving heads and lighting desks retain value?

Yes, they may. Exact model, operating hours, functionality, condition and accessories affect resale options. Disclose known faults and identify untested items.

Can used truss and stage platforms be sold?

They may be suitable following assessment. We need the manufacturer, system, identification, condition and available documentation. Damaged or insufficiently documented components require specific handling before any sale can be considered.

Are deinstallation and collection included?

We do not normally collect equipment ourselves. A courier can be arranged by separate agreement. Describe the location, access and whether equipment is installed. Packing and deinstallation need prior agreement; dismantling stage or rigging systems may require separately arranged specialist skills.
