Sell your used audiovisual equipment

Moving offices, upgrading meeting rooms or closing a site? We help businesses recover value from used AV equipment, conference systems, projectors, displays and professional audio equipment.

Send an equipment list so we can assess whether direct purchase, consignment or auction suits your lot. We consider the models, condition, quantities and potential buyers.

What AV equipment can you sell?

Audiovisual equipment is used in meeting rooms, training facilities, hotels, shops and event venues. These are examples of equipment we can assess for resale.

Projectors and projection equipment

Laser projectors, presentation and installation projectors, projection screens and lenses. Provide model details, operating or lamp hours, image defects and included accessories.

Displays and digital signage

Conference displays, large-format screens, interactive displays, LED walls and video walls. Describe panel condition, any pixel defects, stands, mounts and control units.

Video conferencing and meeting rooms

Video conferencing systems, video bars, conference cameras, PTZ cameras, speakerphones and touch controllers. Complete systems can be assessed with their microphones, remotes and power supplies.

Audio systems and microphones

PA systems, speakers, power amplifiers, mixing desks, digital signal processors and wireless microphone systems. Report known functionality, connections and frequency bands where relevant.

Presentation and signal distribution

Wireless presentation systems, video switchers, matrix switchers, signal converters and control systems. Match base units with transmitters, control panels and other required components.

Event, streaming and accessories

Streaming equipment, recorders, racks, flight cases, display stands, cables and adapters. List the contents so we can assess whether to sell them together or separately.

When meeting rooms or business needs change

We help with conference equipment disposal during office closures, relocations, refurbishment and meeting room upgrades. Hotels, conference centres, training providers, AV installers and event companies may also have used equipment, demonstration units or surplus stock to sell. Functional equipment can continue to be used while you free up space and capital.

Include the manufacturer and exact model, for example Logitech, Poly, Cisco, Barco, Crestron, Extron, Epson, Panasonic, Sony, Shure, Yamaha or QSC. These examples help identify the equipment; assessment and resale options depend on the individual lot.

How the sale works

  1. List the equipment

Collect makes, models, quantities, photographs and known condition. Tell us where the equipment is located and when the premises need to be cleared.

  2. Assess the value

We review the information, potential resale value and demand, considering whether complete systems or separate units are more suitable.

  3. Choose a sales route

We agree on direct purchase or a resale arrangement. Price, fees, responsibilities, deinstallation and collection are clarified before work begins.

  4. Complete and account

Equipment is sold and handed over as agreed. We do not normally collect it ourselves, but a courier can be arranged by separate agreement. We provide the sales accounting.

Information that supports a valuation

Assessing used conference equipment requires more than its original purchase price. The following details provide a useful starting point:

  • Manufacturer, exact model, serial number and quantity.
  • Photographs of the equipment, identification labels, connectors and any damage.
  • Known condition, test results and operating or lamp hours where available.
  • Accessories such as power supplies, remotes, microphones, dongles and mounts.
  • Which units belong together and whether they are still installed.
  • Location, access, timing and who has authority to sell the equipment.

Have your IT team handle accounts, stored information and device registrations before handover. Follow the manufacturer's reset instructions and check which licences and services can be transferred. Functional testing and deinstallation requirements need to be agreed separately.

Direct purchase, consignment or auction?

Direct purchase of AV equipment

Where the lot is suitable, we can make an offer for all or part of the equipment. This suits businesses looking for a defined transaction and coordinated handling.

Consignment and auction

Specialist systems or mixed equipment stock may be better suited to consignment or auction. We discuss sales channels, costs and timing based on the contents. We do not guarantee a particular final price.

Questions about selling AV equipment

Do you buy used AV equipment from businesses?

We review the equipment list and assess whether direct purchase or a resale arrangement is suitable. Purchasing options depend on the models, condition, quantities and demand.

Can you help sell a complete conference room system?

Yes, we can assess a complete lot of displays, projectors, cameras, microphones and accessories. Tell us if equipment is still mounted. Responsibilities and scope for any deinstallation are agreed in advance.

Can older or untested conference equipment be sold?

Sometimes. Age, condition, accessories and continued usability affect value. Describe equipment as untested if functionality is unknown and disclose known faults. We assess whether resale is reasonable.

What is my used projector or conference display worth?

There is no universal price. Exact model, operating or lamp hours, image quality, accessories and demand all matter. Send photographs and model details for assessment.

Can you arrange collection?

We do not normally collect equipment ourselves. A courier can be arranged by separate agreement. Include the town, floor, lift access, other access arrangements and timing with your enquiry. Packing and any deinstallation also need to be agreed in advance.

What is sitting unused in your meeting rooms or equipment store?

Send models, quantities, photographs, condition and location. Let us know whether you have individual units, several conference rooms or a complete AV inventory so we can propose the next step.
